FAQ

APPOINTMENTS

How do I schedule a dental appointment?
Call 570-476-6115 and speak with our office manager Krissy.  She will assist you in getting your appointment scheduled!  If the computer is more convenient, you can request an appointment through our online website form.  It’s that easy!

How long does it take to get an appointment?
Our goal is to provide the most convenient appointment time for you and your family. The length of wait-time for an appointment may vary based on your choice of provider, appointment type, and your desired day or time of appointment. Emergency and walk-in appointments are accepted during normal business hours with emergency patients as the priority.

What if I have a dental emergency?
For emergencies during regular office hours, we can typically have you seen in our office the same or next business day.

What if I need to reschedule a dental appointment?
Please call Stroudsburg Family Dental as soon as your plans change to reschedule your dental appointment. Please remember that this time was reserved especially for you and if you cannot make it please let us know so that another patient may have the chance to receive necessary care.

OFFICE VISITS

What can I expect at my first dental visit?
During your first visit to Stroudsburg Family Dental, you will receive a thorough dental examination that includes X-Rays and comprehensive risk assessments. Dr. Iglio will develop a Personal Dental Care Plan based upon your immediate needs, current dental health, and long-term oral health goals. This individual plan will include recommendations for cleanings, restorations and preventive treatments. Most patients will receive a cleaning at their first visit, based on the assessment and recommendation from your dentist.

Can I get major dental work done right away?
Yes! Our first priority is to diagnose and treat any urgent conditions that pose an immediate threat to your oral health. Our next priority is prevention, which means controlling the disease process, promoting wellness, and helping you maintain good overall oral health. This is important to make sure that any major restorative work is successful in the long term.

PATIENT ACCOUNTS

Why did I get a bill from you?  My insurance will pay for my services.
All accounts with a balance owing are billed monthly.  We bill insurance carriers as a courtesy to our patients; however, the patient is financially responsible for all balances due.
