Where did you grow up?
Lehighton, Pennsylvania - a small town not too far from Stroudsburg.
Where did you receive your education and training?
Northampton Community College.
What is your favorite thing about working at Stroudsburg Family Dental?
I love to help patients feel comfortable in understanding their insurance benefits. I also enjoy being able to see a difference in our patients dental health.
What made you choose to pursue a career in dentistry?
I've always been fascinated by dentistry ever since I was a child. I love going to the dentist!
Do you have family in the Stroudsburg area?
My husband, James and I met each other back in 2007 and have been together ever since. We married in 2011 on a beautiful December day - Christmas time is my favorite time of the year. We have chickens and a four legged child named Karter. James and I are pregnant and expecting our first child in, May 2017. We couldn't be more excited!
What do you like to do when you’re not working?
A long time hobby of mine has been painting and sketching, it is the most relaxing past time. My husband and I like to go hiking. We recently visited Maine and absolutely fell in love. We can't wait to go back and make new memories with our daughter and dog Karter. We also enjoy gardening and dabbling in homesteading.
What would you tell people to do if they had only one day to visit Stroudsburg?
Of course, stop by Stroudsburg Family Dental. You would have to take sometime to see what nature has to offer. The Poconos have some of the most beautiful scenery any state on the east coast has to offer. Also, you'd have to stop by Popcorn Buddha and try out all of their popcorn flavors, it's pretty incredible.
